Anyone know of a trem with tap tempo, i've been having a look on google and can't find any good ones? Anyone built one?

no idea, but if you find it, post the results cos I'd be interested.
there's a thread over at fsb on daughter boards for tap tempo and extended times on delays, perhaps you could see if that can be applied?

Re: trem with tap tempo schematic?
Every circuit I've looked at with tap tempo uses a microcontroller.
So unless you know know your way around programming one etc it's a bit tricky.
I'm in the middle of designing a microcontroller based tap tremolo, but it's gonna take me a while longer.

I found one, they are also selling the chips pre-programmed which is awesome. I did a paper on digital electronics last semester at uni, but yeah wouldn't be able to program anything myself yet.

Re: trem with tap tempo schematic?
Molten voltage make a series of specialist chips which can be used to do tap tempo on trems or delays. Not probably for the novice but quite compact and not a microprocessor.

I still have the insides of a Cusack Tap a Whirl V2 lying around. The circuit board on mine was replaced under warrantee, I can't remember why. Something was iffy with it but I can't for the life of me remember what.

Re: trem with tap tempo schematic?
here the one I got made from the musicpcb plans - its a phaser on the right (two knobs)
the left side is,
ratio knob - in relation to the tap switch (center)
wave form
speed
depth
warp - to mash up the wave form
and gain -

realy cool
