Yup, that be them, those guys used to mix small amounts for me, generally no or low charge, they can mix most colours. Nice folks to deal with. I would take my guitars in so they could colour match.

Would these guys do Nitro, or have access to nitro k1w1?

Re: Aerosol Pearl Finish ?
Specialise in nitro, they supply panelbeaters, all my guitars are 50's 60's department store models (mainly Harmony/Silvertone), all done in nitro. These guys will mix nitro colours no problem. My main '65 solid body truss rod broke and getting it out badly damaged the headstock. They nicely matched the black, but it is a little marred finish, my fault as spraying without a booth is difficult. This a the only after shot I have, top right

Thanks so much man...how's that neck pickup in the Tele? Can you sing into it? I remember using a Harmony p/up as a mic for effects years ago....

Re: Aerosol Pearl Finish ?
Yeah a few go microphonic, they wound them hot, the ones in the red one are both around 10.5 - 11 K ohm, but that goldfoil in the tele is full and smooth VERY P90 ish, lovely, not a hint of microphonics. They are wound wide and flat, different to Fender or Gibson, so very "saturated" tone is the best I can describe.
But those guys at Colourworks, good guys to deal with. I used to live in Onehunga, just down the road.
