Interesting list, some oddities in there. Would not put that Blackstar Series One 104 on the list, it's a pretty average amp and for modern high gain there's plenty of other amps I'd choose over it.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

but matman doesn't like RATT so that ones out
Re: "Ratman"...er...have you have seen me in person? If you have then you know that that one is a bit on the...um  ...nose.

Now willow, you know that I like 4/5ths of RATT immensely (it's just that I despise the 1/5th that is Steven Pearcy's singing to an equal degree)

Ryan and I haven't really named it but Ryanmatt (of Awesomeness) seems to have become the accepted shorthand for 'the unnamed amp that ryan made for matman'.

In the early stages of the build I had toyed with a few (probably lame) names for it and was thinking of either just calling it the Matman or something like the 'matronic', the Dimmak (Dim Mak is the fabled kung fu 'death touch' for those of you who aren't into old school martial arts films), or the 'O4A' ('o' for Awesome)

Once it had arrived though, and I realised just how Awesome it really is I felt funny with the idea of me naming it given that Ryan created it and may do a production version at some stage. So unless Ryan has something that he wants to call it I don't mind it being referred to as the Ryanmat, Rymat, R.O.A, or any other forum generated nickname while it officially remains 'the amp with no name'.

On topic, I can't believe that there's no Bogner on there and I've never heard of the #1 amp on that list!

I think you should call the Ryanmat "The Ferret", cause it would molest a bellbird (Apologies to the greenstone boys!)

I haven’t, but will proceed to so. This list is rubbish, and should include the THD Univalve, which in my opinion is one of the best designed gigging amps ever. and it sounds the sauce.

I haven't.

But then my JVM410H is on there so I think the list is legitimate, credible and entirely accurate.

No I didn't, I was just kidding. I honestly couldn't care less what lists my amp is on. If I was 'having a cry' I would have included the 'having a cry' icon.

Would that be something in Snakeskin tolex perchance?

:lolno: Ferret is a bit too close to Rat...

I kind of like 'Rhino' both as a play on Ryan and as a description of its character but again, I'm not going to claim naming rights.
