New LP day for me today. Its my introduction to chambered LPs. Its very light from what I'm used to after an 1995 classic , which I never should have sold, and the 81 Custom which was a chunck of solid meaty LP unreleaved goodness. The Yamaha SG100 was also weighing in around the 11lb mark. So this thing on the shoulder is just wierd feeling. Hope I get used to it cos man does it sound farking great !! So loud unplugged and even aggressive ! Never heard another guitar that sound so good with no amp conected. The 57 Classics are perfect as usual. They suit me down to the ground for all the styles I play (Blues to common garden variety 80's metal).
So it is a 2007 LP Classic Antique. Honeyburst AA top. Not mint. I would say an 8.5 condition. Bound headstock with the crown logo inlaid. Needs a good clean and the frettboard looks a little dried out a new set of 11's and maybe lower the action slightly. Also a pair of Sprague Vitamins Qs will be going the cavity too.
Heres a pic of it straight out of the case fresh from the courier.
