Big Apple Stratocaster.
Real pictures added below.
Very playable. Nice tones from the HB's.
In between positions do a very good job of a traditional Strat sound.

Re: NGD: Stratocaster
Did you get the one on trademe in the weekend? That was a good buy. I would have been keen but I need to move a guitar first.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I always wanted a Lonestar too.mr_sooty wrote:These are great guitars. I wanted a Lone Star Strat like, forever. Not so into the new Mexican ones, but those 90's ones faw shaw.
Like the thought of S/S/HB with split option.
The more I play the BA the more I like it.
The Stratty tones are there surprisingly enough and the fullness of the HB's is nice!

Re: NGD: Stratocaster
Fantastic. Took one look at that and was going to ask if it was a Big Apple. I had one with a Floyd a few years back. Didn't know what I'd bought really but came to realise it was one ******* well made and solid Strat. When I sold it on there was a wee bidding war. Fantastic guitars. That one's very handsome. Congratulations.

Missus reckons it'll make the Tele redundant.robnobcorncob wrote:That will complement your Tele nicely!
Tele will be redundant while honeymoon runs it's course but not term hopefully.
Perhaps Strat will make me fall out of love with Tele......

I cheated a little.....the case is for my AVRI 52 Telecaster.Clanger wrote:Sheyitthat looks amazing. The colour and pickguard combo go well together. Awesome looking tweed case, also.
The strat came with the standard USA strat shaped hard case.
