Young fella is ok thanks though looks pretty bad while the swelling is up and the glue and blood is visible! No doubt he will be as good as new within days.

Yes this guitar very temporarily passed through Conway's hands. Although I had called dibs on it at a very early stage :)

I'm nominating him to join you in the ' Blink and you'll miss it ' Club.

(Edit - Directed at Molly)

Bah you are privy to some of those swaps. Your p90 PRS went to Conway to me back to you, and the '52RI Tele you had went from me to Conway to you.

And yes I know you now have neither lol.

Sorry to hear about your son, hope he comes right :)

What's the guitar like? How does the neck feel? big frets? does it sound classic or more modern?

He will be fine thanks :)

You'd like the TA though I suspect you'd probably prefer one of my Suhrs which are a bit more modern feeling and tone. The TA has a more vintage feel and tone, chunkier neck and smaller frets. Feels more like my EJ than my Suhr Pro S3

I think we need to organise a proper guitar library--rather than relying on just a couple of folks and their good nature/change of heart. It occurs to me that some people would only ever need to check out guitars from the 'short term loan' section. ;-)

Kiwiaxe - hope the young fella bounces back quickly and fully. Cheers for the deal.

Molly - well played sir. Yes, I did flick it on within days but it was a means to an end... I now have my George Jetson guitar synthesiser with midi Strat, thanks to Matt and the Rockshop.

OlegMc - sorry you missed out but Kiwiaxe harassed me with demands to sell him the Tom Anderson as soon as he knew I had it and he was a cash buyer.

No worries at all Conway. Cash rules. I have not missed out. I'll post some photos of my new Strat soon, I think you will like it. Hope you enjoy all those new, synthy sounds. I will expect to see you staring a prog rock band soon.

Interesting, I like bigish necks (335 or similar), but hate small frets. At some point I'd really like to shoot out your suhrs vs my ash guitars. Next time I buy something from you haha :D

I end up not liking a lot of guitars because big neck + big frets seems to be an unusual combo.

I didn't say small frets... I said smaller! Smaller than jumbo.

And also I didn't say big ... I said chunkier! Chunkier than Suhr which is quite slim!

Interesting.
I've never played a Suhr, but with the TA in my hands I was thinking it might be like a previous generation Suhr.
Worryingly from my perspective, I found the TA's neck too narrow and toothpicky for my tastes. That aside, it just oozes competence and quality in a way many of its contemporaries didn't.
Happy NGD. :D

I can't say much about it because Slowie has spent more time playing it than me.

Anything smaller than jumbo is too small! :D
