The Artist Formerly Known as Telecaster

Post by null_pointer »

The MJT post has inspired me to take some crap photos of my own MJT experience for giggles and public derision. Used to be a '93 Telecaster, but only the neck and tuners remain. Now consists of:
Medium relic swamp ash MJT body (target was 50 years of wear) - super light
Joe Barden compensated brass bridge
Snazzy electrics - Vitamin Q oil in paper cap, CTS pots, vintage cloth wire, switchcraft jack, 3 way switch
Single ply vintage pickguard
Klein Firebird neck pickup (can't say wow enough with these) http://www.kleinpickups.com/p-226-firebird-pickup.aspx
Klein Epic Series Ltd bridge - overwound hot, sits at 8.8k http://www.kleinpickups.com/p-263-the-l ... ckups.aspx
Set for 10-46 and plays like Bruce Springsteen hasn't been playing Glory Days on it.

That is how a Telecaster is supposed to look.
