I've just counted 6 cuts on my hands. What is really surprising is that 5 of them are on my right hand, the one that was holding the scalpel - by the handle I swear!

Yeah I would think so, you could tint the nitro too to get the amber finish .k1w1 wrote:Meh, not enough body fluids showing BG So would using just nitro lacquer on some tweed type cloth do the job? I have my MPC 5 watts and have toyed with lacquering the cloth.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Authentic looking. Is the tweed a fabric like ye old tweed?
My son used to crack up when he'd see me working in the shed and blood dripping all over the place from some minor wound. Something to do with age, skin chips easy, thin blood.

Yip, much better than the white. Does it sound better now?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Re: Tweeding a Tweed Deluxe...
it certainly has my mojo now, fwiw...
Ok, dunces hat for me... gave it the obligatory test run as the missus is out. Woah big hum changed lead, still same. So worked through swapping out valves etc, even started chopsticking no change.
Eventually I plugged my LP in, had been running the P90 beast through it. Yep quiet as a mouse, turns out the guitar has the hum not the amp. Shite, wasted an hour of playing time doing that haha...
