I like chorus, the out of tune ness of it hides the fact my guitars intonation is so far from right atm

Boss has been doing some cool shit. That new smaller TU-3 looks brilliant for the guys who use volume pedals

$100 more than a PT Mini though. I was gassing for the TU3S but... the PT Mini is small too!bbrunskill wrote:Boss has been doing some cool shit. That new smaller TU-3 looks brilliant for the guys who use volume pedals
Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Re: New Blog - BOSS pedals of the Pros
Yay! I've just had another article published this week - all about the Roland Blues Cube amps...
http://www.rolandcorp.com.au/blog/the-r ... -explained
I'm a MASSIVE fan of these amps. Have been from the beginning, still am - and in fact increasingly so since the release of the Robben Ford Tone Capsule. Very very impressive tone and feel.

Re: New Blog - BOSS pedals of the Pros
Clips of these things sounds really good, but they seem expensive, like fender hot rod deluxe kind of prices. Not sure why you'd get one over an HRD or Pro Junior or Vox AC15 or probably nearly even a not far off a 68 deluxe reverb, all around that $1200 bracket

Because to many people's ears (certainly mine) the Blues Cubes sound MUCH better than Fender Hot Rod series amps and they are much better featured.bbrunskill wrote:Clips of these things sounds really good, but they seem expensive, like fender hot rod deluxe kind of prices. These days, I would own a Blues Cube before a 65 DRRI.......and the DRRI is one of my favourite amps.

Re: New Blog - BOSS pedals of the Pros
Hmmm cool, had never heard of these... And some high profile players!
I listened to the Robben Ford demo and the EJ demo. 2c worth of opinion from a joe public at the bottom of the world? I'd like the shaddup and play version of the demos. I'm kinda polarised to endorsement gush, makes me lose attention... need to hear it played before I can make up my mind. If there's any decent demos feel free to link'em, thanks Matt

Yeah there are very few demos on line currently. I might have to get some content created locally.Cdog wrote:Hmmm cool, had never heard of these... And some high profile players!

Re: New Blog - BOSS pedals of the Pros
I published a pretty fun blog post today about some older BOSS pedals that have become "cult classics". This one was a blast to write hahaha. Check it out...
