Bored in Australia
Sup guys, haven't been here for a long time - moved to Aussie and unfortunately I am rural enough to make finding people to jam with a real pain in the arse So I record wanky stuff.
Anyway, here's a couple tracks played on out of tune guitars, out of time. I have an 8 string coming so looking forward to playing that horribly as well (which is partly why I am inspired to come post here)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRuFps_1Zf0
Have no idea when he will announce the winner, of course there are some amazing entries, much better than mine but hey always worth a shot - hope some of you guys had a crack.
And some soundcloud shit https://soundcloud.com/postalpro/sets/j ... verage-lol
All Boss GT5 and hastily made backing tracks - kontakt/superior drummer.

Rural living RULES ... no annoying neighbours, no dogs barking for hours on end, stars in the sky at night (and I mean LOTS OF THEM not the few you city people see) no traffic

We are classified as rural, 2 minutes away from suburbia, and we can see lots of stars on a clear night!willow13 wrote:an hr...wow thats out there (i'm only 25mins from "proper shops")....sounds like bliss heheMolly wrote:Pros and cons I suppose. Anyway, Chickenman, any affiliation with Toy Story?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Re: Bored in Australia
That sounds boss actually, you could just get an inverter and put your amp on the back of your ute ir just on the deck and blast away at whatever hour you liked. No dogs, no neighboirs playing doof doof. That sounds awesome.

No.
Even though we are fairly rural, by the time our house was built 5 other houses popped up in the street so it's not as noise friendly as it could have been.

A few fellow Kiwis in even our stage of the subdivision.
I got offered an audition for a drum gig, only a 4 hour roundtrip to every practice... feck that.
