Some say if it's over 30 years old it's vintage? YMMV

This one came with authentic dings and scratches of over 30 years of playing, not factory relic

It all started when I saw RS ad selling their private collection (only available for viewing at K Rd)
So drove down and found this beauty American made in the 80s, upgraded to CS twisted tele pickups and according to the RS manager, in the 80s Fender sold some with the "flipped around" control plate which I do prefer as I remember few years ago I considered modding the control plate on a Am Standard Tele but was too complicated for me, lots of YouTube vids on that.
RS personnel let me try out the tele through a newish Boogie Fillmore and the tonez were heavenly! Immediately thought "this guitar is going home with me today" I wish the amp came home with me too but that was too spendy
