Re: YouTube goodness
Eric Haugen is great. I found him when researching details about my new guitar the other day.
He has a really nice touch on the instrument, and comes up with all sorts of great ideas - his phrasing is great!
He has a whole playlist of Marc Ribot lessons too!

Love playing that either on guitar or bass. The drums are spectacularly crap when taken out of contextfoal30 wrote:Jacob Collier deconstructs Stevie Wonder's "Sir Duke"

Richard Thompson.
Triple threat. Wrote a raft of fucking incredible songs. Kills it on acoustic. Kills it on electric.

He goes right out to the edge of the universe and back again when he plays. He takes licks and melodies from anywhere and everywhere - Hendrix, Django, mariachi, Elgar, there's even a fucking sea shanty in the middle of that solo. Brilliant.
