Yep thats redundancy, my boss wrote 11 pages of why their idea was flawed, I wrote 6 pages backing that up, intermediate developer did the same. All of it pointing at marketing being shite, the web team solely has doubled the leads over the last year. Marketing ran a competition last month that go zero entries.

End result - marketing gets they want, a wordpress site or similar that will fuck up the brand completely, outsourced. Good luck with that being integrated into salesforce.

I have so much to rant about here, that I'm not going too ;) I'll save it for a different post.

Form an agency with the other guys from your team and bill double. ;-)

Had thought of that, but then we'd have to do every crazy fucking thing marketing came up with. However, they would have to wait 3 weeks for it so maybe they'd rethink their shit plans in that time....

They’ll end up hiring your team back as a cost saving measure.

Even better, form an agency and work for the competition, because you already have a track record in the industry. (On a more serious note, it’s worth seeing if you can get any non-compete clauses taken off as part of the redundancy agreement ).

Right. This has got completely out of hand.
There's no way this will work at my place so we need to find another location. AUCKLAND GEARFEST!!!

Cappy, would the space we used last time at Corbans be available?

Any other suggestions appreciated.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Or we just do one amp at a time.... no need for all to play. I'll see about other venues, I just thought your place would be 'intimate'

I can happily not bring an amp. Just a stinky old Gretsch, a manky old Martin, and a reverb unit.
