got my old man staying for a bit,he's got a bit of money and is thinking getting something to run thru his PA.He's old and not interested in full app integration, just wants something with the majority of the controls within reach. Is there anything in the 50w and under range that has a decent emulated output?doesnt need or want tubes, doesnt need huge output.Something he can take to the local jam nights and play,or hook up a direct signal to FOH if needed.
i thought about maybe moeer radar or similar, but 270 odd is hella spendy for some thing with way more features than needed.cheers!
yes i said katana striaght away but theres no stock it seems for the 50w... anyone got a 50w combo they want shot of?

Awesome amp on paper. Really didn't dig it when I played it though.jeremyb wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 8:54 am Something like a Marshall Origin? https://www.rockshop.co.nz/shop/marshal ... ifier.html
DSL series would be my preference, even for low gain. Also has emulated line out.

yeah he doesnt want or need tube, and my general experience is headphone outs/ 1/8" jacks seem hopeless into a PA. The DSL's are good on paper with the emulation but prob getting up there in terms of cost. And also tubes...i'll try hold out for a MK1 katana
