Re: Guess it
Fancy! How's that headstock...
Looks in good condition. The crack on the heel is common but should be checked for movement. Those pickups sound cool in a very old skool way. Probably has a neck that is narrow but deep; very much their worst feature IMHO.
How does it play?

Re: Guess it
No. Was looking at that. Does it go through the heel?
I'm picking it's there to reinforce that crack.
Might be worth more than I thought.

Re: Guess it
And shows just how close I was with my guess!
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Re: Guess it
It really is a mad headstock. It's like if your grandad had a lime green mohawk.

Re: Guess it
Neck popping out is pretty common - that hole would have been someone’s attempt to screw it back down - came across a bunch of similar “repairs” when I was looking into Hofners a while back.Slowy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 3:43 pmNo. Was looking at that. Does it go through the heel?
