I’d dig a 70’s shovelMolly wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 7:38 pmDude! I like that a lot. 105th anniversary?
Harleys here command a serious premium. I'd love another big block but some examples are almost double what I'd expect to pay in NZ. I'm chasing a 70s Shovel at the moment. Their prices seem more in keeping with what I'm used to.
Congrats on the new bike.

Doh! Obviously... It's an Evo. Should've looked more closely. I'd put wide western bars on it and change nothing else.H671 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 9:07 pmIt's a 95th anniversary - 1998 #1474 of 3000.Molly wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 7:38 pmDude! I like that a lot. 105th anniversary?

The bike will be delivered sometime this coming week & there are a lot of the original factory parts coming with it including the original handle bars. I particularly wanted an Evo because I know how to work on them and this is also the carburetted version - even easier.Molly wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 4:33 pmDoh! Obviously... It's an Evo. Absolutely. This old Sportster I'm tinkering with is also referred to as an Evo Sportster. I don't know a lot about their history at all but it sounds epic!H671 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 5:07 pmThe bike will be delivered sometime this coming week & there are a lot of the original factory parts coming with it including the original handle bars. Yeah I've got the FC6 which is fine for my needs, but more is always better. I've been A/B'ing my EVH 5153 with the model in the Axe and it's ridiculously close.

Expected as much. So, you paid in dollars what they're asking in pounds? Christ, I can't bring myself to pay double... Will look elsewhere.H671 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 8:44 amOooh, that burgundy colour looks much better in real life but the prices are twice what I paid.Molly wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 11:47 pmSaw one like yours for sale in tge UK. You can't equate the pound with the NZ dollar, you're not earning NZ dollars
