Smashing Pumpkins recording Mellon Collie

Came across this video earlier today. Half of it is a brief history of the pumpkins leading up to mellon collie, the other half is them making mellon collie interspersed with interviews with the band and live footage. Good little watch

...and then i got watching one of the suggested youtube videos with loads of footage of early takes. Corgan playing mellon collie's (song) piano, thru the eyes of ruby, zero, lotsa good shite!

Same here! The first time hearing cherub rock when i think i was 11 or 12 and hearing that thick layered fuzz was a revelation
