He had a massive car crash, Broke his head open. Long recovery.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I bet he felt a bit peaky……
Didn’t listen to him at the time, not my generation.

Martin Barre from Jethro Tull. Absolutely fantastic player, and still has great chops.
England really did produce some magnificent guitar players over the last 6-7 decades.

Re: Lesser known guitarists...
Sadly I'm a lot younger than you.... my generation included Generation X - the group - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_X_(band)). My first gig was Siouxsie and the Banshees, hence I had no time for pretty boy Frampton.
This would explain my constant irritation of Neil Young, Creedence and April Sun in Cuba.
Tell me, I'm intrigued, what was Mozart like live? I've asked slowly but he won't tell!

One word for you Jeremy:
Specsavers.

Another guitarist who is quite well known or he was in the past. Check out the movie ‘Roadhouse’

Re: Lesser known guitarists...
That's an interesting point though BG - lesser known is probably a relative term depending on age and taste. I mean, stop your average punter in the street and they're unlikely to have heard of Steve Vai.
