Looks like Blackstar have jumped on the compact pedalboard friendly amp trend:

Re: Blackstar Amped 1
Sounds alright.
Quite a lot of options for thick end of $700.
I find it's a journey of discovery with these sort of things.
Having recently got an Origin Effects Revival Trem, spending some time with the drive section has taught me how to set it to get Fendery and Marshally like tones - and they sound great!!
The revival trem is a simple enough looking pedal but the smarts inside must be astounding!

I bet Thomas Blug will be annoyed over the name. Nevertheless sounds really good for the price!

Re: Blackstar Amped 1
The ACS-1 doesn't have a power amp to drive a real cab like the Amped 1 does, but I dare say their amp simulation and cabinet simulation will be on par

Re: Blackstar Amped 1
This really didn't float my boat from a clean tone perspective. Which is generally true of Blackstar products (Artisan series excepted).

Yeah my experience of blackstar is generally they're more of a high gain kind of thing, have owned a few and never really gelled with them.

I bought and (stupidly) sold an Artisan 30 combo a couple of years back. Really good clean tones. Stupidly loud for 30W.
