And from my time as a mod on another forum, you can see all edits and deleted posts too?

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
$359, stock strings were garbage, the low F# rattled, like I’ve never heard before, swapped them out for a 9-80 set of Ernie balls, but plays really well out of the box, action was good, pickups djent and sound decent clean too, pretty darn stoked with it!

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
This Artist was only $289!!! However it now has a couple of mods, switched out the bridge for a gotoh one I had lying around, hipshot locking tuners from Candeevr4, Entwistle dark star pickups with neodymium magnets, and a set of 13-62 d’addarios tuned to B standard!

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
My 5 string Artist bass, a few mods on this one too, didn’t like the chrome hardware so picked up some Chinese high ratio tuners which are really smooth, Wilkinson bridge, Seymour Duncan bridge pickup, and gutted the active circuitry a and rewired it all with a master tone, master volume, and 3 way rotary switch. Apart from the excessive weight of the body it plays great, threw out the stock strings for some EB 45-130’s.

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
Picked this up last year, and despite being rough-AF cosmetically on purchase, it's cleaned up nice and plays well despite needing a setup. A new set of Elixir 11's , tuned down to Drop C and it's a real little riff monsters. The red X on the upper bout has been black-tapped and the larger one on the body now has a sticker for Trejo's Tacos (of Danny Trejo fame) covering it.

As wanky as it sounds, I'm happy to keep it unless I can make money on itBg wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 1:52 pmAh can't sell the bloody thing ehThe Scarecrow wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 1:43 pm Picked this up last year, and despite being rough-AF cosmetically on purchase, it's cleaned up nice and plays well despite needing a setup. Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
Love my grunge master for a cheap thing. It wasn't bad stock at all, but I have upgraded most of the hardware. Still only owes me peanuts. Put my logo on the headstock to cover a chip.

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
Yeah mine is awesome, thanks scarecrow. Didn't really need much upgrading, but I did anyway... Full fretjob, pickups and the stetsbar now worth a hundred billion dollars.Zaulkin wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 2:21 pm Love my grunge master for a cheap thing. Biggest Mandolin I've ever seen.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
