I would. Offsets with humbuckers just don't sit right with me. Would you be able to mount standard Jag pups with a new pickguard?

Yes, so would need a loaded pickguard from Stratosphere.

Re: Offset chat
Do you know which model it is? Sounds like the Vintera '60s Jaguar Modified, on which the humbuckers are splittable, I believe.
This sort of thing?

This sort of thing?

Humbucker-sized P90s might be good for a laugh. Would need some wiring adjustment, maybe.

Re: Offset chat
New pickgaurd and proper Jag single coils with the funky saw tooth shields.
Can recommend the fender AV 65 as a good run of the mill set.
I have a variety of operations somewhere that night suit.
Think I have some q pickup hot for Jag ones and an AV 65 bridge.

Having an offset is a dirty transgression.

Re: Offset chat
Curious….has anyone figured out if they do any credible shielding? Anyone stuck one in a strat to compare to the others?

Re: Offset chat
I think they probably do something. Maybe not shielding but I wonder if they alter the coil/magnet behaviour in some way.

Oh yeh they probably don't teach you that in psych school. It doesn't get better with age. Bet it would look great under stage lighting...the colour-way (body, fretboard/pick guard) is cool...but I'm seriously colour deficient...so yeah...call me sick
