Re: Return of the Gibbons shocker thread!
Please post this stuff elsewhere. Regardless of their sins, Gibson don't deserve to share a thread with this dreck.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

They are rarely mocked by those who can afford them.

Can afford, would like R9, would I spend that much on a piece of wood, no.
Part of that reasoning is that I'm a terrible guitarist and I'd rather have cheap guitars I don't play

Who? The "G" guys? I'm the opposite, actually. I love their classics.

Gibson are less mockworthy now, since Henry Juszkiewicz was kicked to touch.

That's a fact, they've gone from strength to strength since '19.
However they're not perfect and their guitars are generally costly but they sell all that they produce and are one of the 'big boys' of musical instrument manufacture.
Too bad there's not a good complement of their guitars to chose from here in NZ, Rockshop only importing LPs mostly and in very meagre numbers of any one item year per year.
Doin' that scrapyard thing.
