Jansen Beatbass project
I thought Id move this to its own thread rather than the Anyone like bass guitars, as this is probably better for those who dont.
This is what I started with. I think I overpayed for it all (?$250) in a trademe bidding war when I was in a vulnerable wine fugue

I climbed on the back of a giant albatross which flew through a crack in the cloud to a place where happiness reigned all year round and music played ever so loudly

Re: Jansen Beatbass project
Looking forward to your developments
Does a tenor guitar tickle your pickle at all? Could make a great donor...
I felt the creepy, Frankenstein monster-mash mind flash after a high rotate dose of Warren Ellis' Eastman tenor on this track (as mentioned in "Qs TDNaWT thread)
Here's mine.
Semi trans at the moment. I have the top-loader bridge/saddles/mute-slider-spatula-fuckerupperer and keys (although one is a Fender and turns the other way to the Jansen three ). I'm in seven minds as whether to swap the neck or adapt the neck

Re: Jansen Beatbass project
Entered a long and frustrating exchange where he promised me PARTS for this rare BASS. But after a string OF about ten emails he drifted off into OBSCURITY and nothing CAME of it
