Haha thanks! I guess the nice thing for me is that since this isn't strictly part of my job per se, I just create these videos when I see a user need, rather than having to drum up hype to gain following or any of that modern YouTuber stuff (which really drives a lot of the behaviour you mentioned).robthemac wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 10:53 amI wish there were more informative, simple demo videos like this on YouTube. You don't repeatedly tell us that you're a professional musician, wank needlessly up and down the fretboard, or try and sell your training course.slash-ed wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 10:22 am
Looks like GT-1000CORE has landed in NZ! Which means it's probably a good time to share this bunch of 10 utility patches that I made for anyone beginning their journey with the CORE. There's a whole bunch of fun stuff in here including 4 cable, looping, guitar AND bass at the same time, as well as some advanced routing stuff to give you effects-only to a stage amp while still feeding the PA with an amp/cab simulated out.

I watched it to the end, but it just confirmed I still don't have the intellectual capacity to use modern tech.
Well done Ed; great vid regardless.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
