Could you do this, but with the blue background replaced with gold?

I'd need to buy gold filament that seems more like the sort of thing the crew at www.emblems.co.nz could do for you

Volume doesn't really change with the knob between two and ten. Just dirtier, and at really manageable volumes. I wouldn't be doing it in an apartment, but I doubt my neighbours will be objecting too much.

Love the gold and green!
No master volume is also how these amps should be experienced - given you get a chance to wind it up occasionally.
Nice simple circuit for pure toannnn - great work Mike

I've just seen this amp on the flesh
It was being guarded by a lunatic dog and a recumbent older woman
Looks the part. Lovely cab and lovely face plate.
I approve of the green and gold.
Didn't get a chance to try it (on account of recumbent older lady above ).

We shall fang it tomorrow. Thinking of suggesting that the ladies have brunch at a cafe.StrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 5:28 pm I've just seen this amp on the flesh

Re: NAD: Marshall 1974 clone
verdant describes the type of green.
e.g. "the carpet was a verdant green until the 5 year old vomited up a bag of stolen gummy sweets, after which, it became an olive drab green"

In the old usage of verdant yes, but in modern usage it means "thriving vegetation green".
