HD500. Does everything you could ever want and if you can get over the non-boutiqueyness of it you're sorted :)
Unless what you want is a decent approximation of a jcm800... ;-)

This provides a nice overview of my brain power when it comes to pedals.

Currently the DLS has been booted by a Hotcake in a 1590A enclosure too. As soon as I can get my hands on a polytune mini I'll have a completely 1590A board 8)

(Although the hulk green DLS is such a cool pedal that it'll probably go back on there).

No more so than anyone who thinks that an HD500 can replace an awesome board of single pedal units, for those who actually enjoy single units. The uniqueness of standalone units is a seriously fun thing to put together, as opposed to one box of tricks that are copies of individual units. I know there's heaps of guys on here that are using the Line6 units, and enjoying them, but for those of us that prefer having unique and individual sounding units, the Line6 stuff holds no interest.

I'm really anti gear snobbery and cork sniffing, and really hate the hype that surrounds a lot of so called boutique stuff, but the fun of building a setup includes the elements of individual pedals interacting with one another.
Don't really understand the reply, but I don't have a M13 or HD500 either. Think I got successfully trolled by jb and jimi though.
Ok I got rid of my Foal quote, but I found a new one.

Show us your whole setup....

Post by Rog »

I'm in a "count your blessings, Rog' mood. I've had to sell a bunch of guitars and amps, but I still have 4 instruments that I love. The Precision is the only one of the four that I actually played before I bought it, demonstrating that you can still luck out buying unseen as they all turned out 'just right' for me. I'd have huge emotional problems having to sell off any of these - my preferred 4 guitars, so dammit, I won't. This is my bottom line.

Obligatory NZG gear on my deck photo.
