Re: Auckland Gearfest?
The only person who looked like I had imagined, was hot grits (because of his avatar) and for some reason Dong Hua looked AND played exactly how I thought he would. I thought Ian (CD) was going to be a hairy biker type because of his avatar
Re: Auckland Gearfest?
I'm annoyed i couldn't make it, but had issues with my transportation overheating so had to fix that instead.
AFK.

Lots of effects for sure! Effects are flavour of the month, it seems.Capt. Black wrote: This will probably be remembered as the multi-effects fest. It was like the 80s in there for a while.
Next gearfest everybody will turn up with ADA preamps and Alesis Quadreverbs

Funny you mention it, machina sold his ADA a while before left NZ. His sound was ace. Though direct to his jcm800 was always sweetest.

Was definitely a great day and I was very impressed with the turnout of females
I have a few pics (including a cracker of BG ) which I will get up some time this week (maybe tonight if I can be arsed... it was a long drive back to Napier!)

It's funny you say that about Dong. I managed to pick him when I randomly walked into Musicworks once!Aquila Rosso wrote:The only person who looked like I had imagined, was hot grits (because of his avatar) and for some reason Dong Hua looked AND played exactly how I thought he would.
