Hey all,
At the moment this is all theoretical, but I may soon be getting back a guitar I used to own which had a set of black open-coil Rebel Yell pickups.
If I do end up getting this instrument, I'd be open to trade offers for the Rebel Yells. I'd consider any boutique PAF-style humbuckers ala BKP Mules etc.
Thought I'd gauge interest here on the forum.

Are you only looking for trades? Not going to sell them? (via MusicXchange... )

Re: Rebel Yell Pickups
I could be interested in buying them, since Sam has been raving about them as "the" pickup for LPs for god knows how long...

Yep, they're great! Ryan's got a pair in his LP custom too. Anybody else got a set?slash-ed wrote:I could be interested in buying them, since Sam has been raving about them as "the" pickup for LPs for god knows how long...

Re: Rebel Yell Pickups
A mate bought the Rebel Yell, Cold Sweat & Warpig with the intention of trying each one in his Strat.
Well after installing the Rebel Yell, he said he won't bother with trying the others as its just "right"

This may be a possibility, so everyone can have a chance to bid on them, and then I can just pick a set of PAF replicas out.hamo wrote:Are you only looking for trades? Not going to sell them? (via MusicXchange... )
Like I said, I used to own this guitar, and they are fantastic pickups (I bought them after-market and had them installed). If you play rock, they really are "the" pickup, especially if you play lead. Very versatile, too.

Re: Rebel Yell Pickups
NZ__Ninja has them in his LP Gold top. They sound completely amazing. They're the reason I decided to put BKP's in my Strat.sambrowne wrote:Yep, they're great! Ryan's got a pair in his LP custom too.
