G'day,

Up for sale is my (*draws deep breath*) Peavey Generation EXP Custom ACM. Its a 2003 model and despite the way it may look, it is in fact, totally stock standard. It has a built in piezo acoustic simulator which sounds mean and is powered by a 6 volt battery which goes in the back. On the magnetic pickup side its a 5 way switch, HSH setup like any other really - giving a wide range of sounds to suit all situations. With the second wee 3 way switch you can have the output set to only piezo, a 50/50 blend of piezo and magnetic pickups or just the magnetic pickups. Of the three knobs - the one nearest to the bridge pickup is the magnetic pickup volume, the next one along is the piezo volume and the third is for magnetic pickup tone control. Its strung up with fresh D'addario guage 9s and sounds great - the mixed piezo and magnetic tone is especially nice for cleans.

It has a real nice quilted top and three ply scratch plate. Tuners are Grovers.

Because the G-string doesn't get held by a string retainer between the tuner and the nut, it has quite a long length of exposed string so you can get some absolutely mental behind the nut sounds like those you might see Matt Bellamy doing for example. Its also good for behind the nut bends if you're into John 5's stuff.

Its got a cluster of dings on the bottom side near the jack socket - one is quite ugly, the others are very minimal. Besides that its condition is excellent - its really been looked after and its been a superb guitar.

I'm after $500 for it.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the pics.
