AC30cc ...metal?
Anyone tried a pedal in front of one of these to push them into hi gain territory? Any good?

Hey! Where's angry_young_poet when you need him....Vorbis wrote:Does the 'cc' stand for 'chinese crap'?
The CC's are Consistently Capable with any pedals in front. I use a Green Machine and the G2D succesfully with mine....

I still find it funny that people tell me 34s and 84s give you harsh sounds. An AC30 and a plexis breakup are very different, but both very smooth. Cranking some 6L6 amps like a vibrolux or a deluxe reverb gives me a VERY harsh and bright overdrive
In summary, everyone needs more pedals. Unless you're packing chorus. And then running it through a midi router system. CD, I'm looking at you...

all the harsh comments are none to subtle digs at our dearly departed friend. 1969. or whatever...thehenderson wrote:I still find it funny that people tell me 34s and 84s give you harsh sounds.
