Initially it sounded really really nice, but there was a dicky valve or something making it do strange things, so I stopped.

Rolling the credits...
Special thanks to the people who contributed a (not so) few dollars to this Gearfest. It was much appreciated.
Also a good on you mate to the guys who turn up to these and most gigs we're involved in without fail. I'm looking at you Darkness and Higainer.
Extra thanks to Simon, Ash and BG for all you dudes do behind the scenes as well as fronting with choice gear to show.

Wouldn't happen without you, glad some folks donated a few bucks wish I could have stayed later.... dangnabit. I didn't have much room in the Barbie jeep to bring the rest of my cool stuff, but next time I'll drag it all along - when I haven't got a huge roadcase filled with Par64's on my front seatCapt. +1 for the Capt. Black and his trusty old ship The mannor.
I almost feel obliged to make some form of amphetamine joke, sad fact is that it was a total shambles for months untill i got an unhealthy amount of time on my hands and a pedal order i was happy with: putting that much effort into making the order concrete has kept any sooty-ing at bay.
I can only be bothered taking it apart annually now.
Also: you gotta make sure you only use mustard cable ties, and dumble-clone velcro... you can't get enough tonal 'mojo' with common substitutes
You seen the underside of that board, fella?*UNIQUE* wrote:Hey Stuu, that is a very neat pedal board. Are you obsessively tiday at home? Jokes aside, looks primo and I wish I could get mine so neat. Mine looks like a time poor father of three made it between the hours of midnight and 4am on a school night. With a bottle of Shiraz in him.
oh wait.

My apologies...
And good to see the roads were cleared for you, too!
I might have to have my own little gear fest.

Smeg - waaay too many knobs and switches for this old fart!
My fav reverb is the one knob on my amp that goes from 0-10 and stays permanently on 4.

People meet up, bring their favourite amps, FX, guitars etc and you get to try everything. It's like a little music expo, but full of people you know and who are not trying to sell you anything.Spykerwolf wrote:Sorry for the noob question, but what's GearFest?
