Uniques usual bad taste gear ....... damn you and your awesome tonez
null_pointers ... that bogner sounded frikken awesome
simplesi...was great to finally hear (and play) the latest modelling gear
JVPP's gear...the 4watt beast and the awesome yamaha (I need one of these, as well as the hand wound Pup in the tele)
and my stuff
and lyles ibanez and marshall class 5
always fun to find out something is broken..looks like my valveking has a few issues once the second power stage kicks in...sadly john left before I could give him the amp to sort out (next time) and finding that one of the speakers in the quad dropped a wire on the journey from pukekawa.
Was nice seeing grant and sean getting their scalloping on
was interesting comparing the EVH to the helix with the 5150 setting. I EQ'd it the same as I have my amp and yeah the tone was there, but I found I got ear fatigue really quickly from the powered speaker. When I went back to the quad it was fine ..maybe the brain was playing tricks on me.
Thanks to simon for organising, was a fun day
oh and while not part of the fest I have to post this pic of my youngest (it was on the camera as I uploaded the images)
ROCKER ... yes the guitar is plugged in

You will be the first (after me) to try out pickup Version 3 once I'll sort out the redesign.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Good day, awesome gear. As others have said it was a little different having some moments of silence where we could hold a conversation without shouting :-p All the gear was awesome, I think my favourite bit of gear was Simon's custom Maton.
I'll have to get organised next time so I can bring some more gear along.

Looks like fun times. A shame to have missed it but Voxes were pretty well represented, so probably best I stayed away. Saved everyone from my shit playing too.

Nice to put a few more names to faces today. Played some awesome guitars, met some cool people, only wish I had come a bit earlier.
Finally played a Suhr! That was a real highlight for me - always wanted to get my hands on one having been gassing for one for the last 6 years or so. A very fine guitar too.
Also quite enjoyed playing around with Si's helix. Too big for my gig bag that so I'll stick to the Amplifire

Yes to the SG, but the amp lego looks like a badly designed 90' logo. so lego =logo. I'm sure Marvin would be happier the right way around anyway!Darth Sabbathi wrote:Ooof, that SG... jeebus I want one of those.willow13 wrote:

I would have been keen for another round but the guys were all a bit tired. Too much fingering for one day. Jizz.twangnsnarl wrote:Zaulkin wrote:only wish I had come a bit earlier.

There is actually a Hamilton Circle Jerk (it's even on Wikipedia)...Bg wrote:So it was a bit of a circle fest?
Playing at it this year, should be interesting. I'm sure it's a metaphor, right?
Right??
