What model is the SG on the left? If you ever thought of selling I'd love a p90 to match my SG!Darth Sabbathi wrote: Excessive? Things escalated quickly...
Also, state of the fuzz nation.
A few very exciting 'new' additions: the rather tatty looking yellow Tone Bender is an epic 1973 vintage number... most precious... The Foxey Lady is from 1975 and is basically an OEM Ram's Head Big Muff. Bit Gilmourish for my tastes, but cool in a collecty way. The Roland BeeBaa is very recent and it is all kinds of Japanese crazy goodness. And finally, the largish black box at the far right of the 2nd row is a Dizzy Tone clone - like a Burns Buzzaround but even more full on. Most excellent.I have been pondering something like this - not a business, but a service. If anyone fancies borrowing any of these pedals, I'd be happy to oblige. All I'd ask is that you cover postage both ways, and if you break it, you bought it. Also, I'd probably limit it to forumites who have been around a while - say 100 posts minimum - or have someone who can vouch for them.JHorner wrote: Yeah but thats not GAS anymore, that's a collection.
Or the start of a business.
How much to rent the Ophidia and the Hoof?
Maybe we could turn it into some kind of thing? I'd love to have a blat on an old Memory Man...Or a Gunn Tone Bender...
(And sorry J, I foolishly sold the Hoof - it is actually the best muff-with-mids pedal I've tried - and the Ophidia doesn't leave my board...other than for the occasional photo op.)

You know you have an issue when you have to take a panoramic photo of you gear

Funny you should say... Five SGs actually genuinely is a bit excessive, and I am quietly thinking of selling that one. I actually prefer it to the black Standard, but it is third in line in the P90 stakes, so is probably the one that will get least use.HackSaw wrote: What model is the SG on the left? It is a 2011 60s Tribute. I've got Fralin P90s in there now, which are awesome, but I have the stock pickups too, and would include them if selling. The neck is really nice - not as wide and thin as modern standards. And the finish is nowhere near as glossy - still not totally matte, but certainly less sticky. When I first got it the fretboard was a bit brutal, as it had really sharp edges, but I got the guys at Weta to round them off, and it plays beautifully now. I also slapped a 5 ply pick guard on there as I think single ply ones look shite.
TL:DR - FS posting possibly coming soon...

haven't you got one - or has that got humbuckers?
it's all irrelevant anyway - haven't your read the rule that members with less than 1200 posts aren't allowed to own more than one SG. Some might see It as a harsh rule... but it's for your own safety
