Push/pull tone pot advice
Hi all
So my cort arrived and the push pull pot constantly spins so
1if I snip off the cap will it have no functionality as a tone knob
2 what would I need to replace it with and where is the best place to get them

That’s dumb
Any old push pull you reckon you can wire up will work fine. Tardme, eBay, other people’s guitars, whatever.

when to you mean by constantly spins? do you "hit it" with your hand as you play?
If Less is More Then Just Think How Much More More would be

When I turn it to adjust the tone it doesn’t stop turning

oh yeah sounds knackered. There are some on TM but they are quite expensive. Rip it out and put in a switch

Pretty much what the tele i got off you has - pickup - switch - volume - jack.Olderama wrote:Is having no tone control make a major impact on er tone?

Im almost tempted to do it on my strat and sg as well because i never use the tone.

The ibanez I've just got is vol only too
Ill snip off the capacitor and see what diffence I get
The pot is goosed so I've ordered a new one and some more capacitors
Time to practice my soldering skills
