Ive been using the Crimson Guitars oil. Its lighter than Tru Oil - other wise quite similar - they do two versions - a "Penetrating" version and a "High Build". I just use a few coast of the penetrating on my necks. Really like it.

The wolfie necks have a very thin layer of trueoil wiped on and wiped immediately off - two times, then waxed. That's what I did to that neck
