Yep, this one has hit home. Big influence for me in my formative years.
Only the other night I was watching their doco on NF(again!).

I haven't got round to watching it yet, but I'm going to have to now.

Re: RIP Dusty Hill
There's a ZZ Top doco on Netflix that's worth a watch. DH comes across as a pretty regular guy despite the massive success.
No more ZZ Top. That's really the end of something special.
RIP.

Was nice to see the midday news play Sharp Dressed Man over the weather in tribute.

But what a great life, eh? Doing something you love and doing it so successfully.

Re: RIP Dusty Hill
In the NF doco, Billy talks about the first time he met Dusty. They jammed for 3 hours solid over a shuffle in C. That's connection!

Re: RIP Dusty Hill
Thought I'd seen Dusty Hill's ghost but it was just Darmajester looking splendid in his massive beard. I had quite a feeling of size-envy. At least I think that's what it was. Not experienced it before.

Re: RIP Dusty Hill
Next to no interest in ZZ Top from me but watched the documentary and thoroughly enjoyed it.
