Re: Bass Compressor Reviews
I'm glad I have bought a comp (M8 in the mail) before reading this! So much choice, but I'm definitely going for transparent, so hopefully will get it right first time.foal30 wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 10:52 am https://www.talkbass.com/threads/testin ... e.1345638/

So:
A VCA Compressor better with an Active Bass
An Optical Compressor better with a Passive Bass

Re: Bass Compressor Reviews
I hooked up my new Empress Bass Compressor yesterday and it’s superb. So superb, it’s knocked the Origin Cali76 Bass into the “for sale” pile. The LED monitoring strip alone is worth the price of admission.

I think having chubby hands and old strings is still in the top five
