I think you can't miss with the Greer Lightspeed or Jan Ray or other Timmy clones, they have a sort of blackface fendery toan to them that I really like.

Re: Still looking for the right drive
I have a TS-9 on my board, so many OD pedals are based on it these days so why not just go with the original!crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 7:22 am I remember when if you had a Tubescreamer you were winning. It doesn't seem to rate a mention these days, but lordy, put one in front of a Marshall and you have drive.
I've always found the light break up sounds best if you get there via pick up, amp and speaker selection - pedals always seem lacking something in this zone, but maybe the Timmy is worth considering.

Also, have a look through my pre-owned pedals.

Re: Still looking for the right drive
He has a ton of great new and pre-owned drives, but he's probably the best person to ask as they've all been through his pedalboardStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:29 amSeems a good price , any of Conways used offerings stand out ?jeremyb wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:22 amConway has one in stock! https://tonelounge.co.nz/the-third-eye-25-off/
But... these are a few of the pre-owned that I've looked into in the past and am keen on:

The Dig is a great bit of kit! I have only looked at Keeley stuff in the past few months, mainly because I'm a fan of Andy Timmons. Keeley makes some very nice stuff!
