Watts Tube Audio Gretsch 6150 amp with jensen p12r and gretsch roundup
Ok im gonna get all cowboy on you here so saddle up and dig yer spurs in...
I tried the 12" jensen p12r that I got from ryan, initially for my princeton. I didnt like it in the princeton at all, but I love it with the gretsch 6151
I was running a high efficiency big eminence legend in there, and it just sounded awful with the 5 watt grestch amp.
the other good thing about the p12r is that I have been able to finaly wake the amp a close back and that has helped alot with the over bass and definition of the amp.
Ive done a little recording using the focusrite and reaper.
takamine through a condenser mic with a little eq
gretsch round up dynasonics tiny bit of delay with ibanez echo shifter then through the gretsch and into focusrite and reaper via the condenser mic.
This is the kit if anyone is interested

Damn! Some vintage tones right there..
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Mate, Hank Williams would be proud of you. Great instrumental that Lost Highway.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

This sounds great, you do a great job of capturing the vibe of it! I remember being really impressed with the Princeton Demo you did too. Nice job!

I really dig these sounds...that Lost Highway is great. Is it your tune?
