Best albums of 2021
Did we have one of these? I had a REALLY narrow focus music wise last year, the only new albums I was listening to were John Mayer's Sob Rock Architects' For Those Who Wish To Exist, and Spiritbox's Eternal Blue... All absolute bangers though!
How'd did 2021 pan out musically for the rest of you?

I don’t have too many that would make the list, but off the top off my head highlights for me would include the following…

Re: Best albums of 2021
I think the only new album I listened to in 2021 was the new Black Label Society one, although with my head for dates at the moment that could have come out at the start of this year for all I know.
I can't say whether it's one of the best albums of 2021 because I didn't listen to any others. There's some strong tracks on there, but unsurprisingly it doesn't break a lot of new ground.

Re: Best albums of 2021
This is going to sound odd,
One of my absolute favourite albums from last year was probably
Halsey : If I Can't Have Love I Want Power
blew me away when I first heard the album, and got a whole new lease of life when I managed to get a copy on Vinyl.
Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, so has a very familiar undercurrent for me.

Was Vulgar Display of Power released last year? I've lost track.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Ray Wilson's The Weight of Man gets my vote. A stunning album, and Ali Ferguson's guitar work will please any Dave Gilmour fans.

I’ll check that one out, thanks. Not really a Gilmour fan but I’m a huge Steve Rothery fanboi so it could fall in the ballpark
