Re: Headstock decals.
Cool! I opened the thread expecting it to be a “how do I get fender decals” which I think of as fraud. Pleasantly surprised to see your official thing
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Re: Headstock decals.
Thanks man! The small decal at the end says 'original custom style ' which is funny because all the guitars I make aren't original at all! Might have to start coming up with some crazy designs.

Re: Headstock decals.
I think a headstock decal or logo is the finishing touch. Guitars without them always scream "partscaster" to me!

Love it! But I might observe that Americans won't be able to pronounce Aotearoa much less comprehend what it means.
"Noo Zeelund? What's that and what happened to the old one?"
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

"Noo Zeelund? What state is that in?"
Back on topic, that is really cool, where do you get them from, or are you printing them yourself?
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Re: Headstock decals.
A guy in Los Angeles does them. They cost me $7 a piece which is steep for a bit of paper but they really finish the job.Danger Mouse wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 11:44 amOr my experience of travelling in the US.

Re: Headstock decals.
I got mine done by a guy somewhere in the Waikato who makes decals for models. $1.50 a sheet and shipped locally.kdawg2a wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 12:23 pmA guy in Los Angeles does them. I know you'll ask, and no, I can't remember his name but searching for model decal printing yielded results since a decal is a decal.

Re: Headstock decals.
@Grant, do you have a logo or decals? Was thinking of getting one made for the Gretschecaster.Lostininverness wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 2:25 pmDid you try checking the prices from Rothko and Frost - UK based.kdawg2a wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 12:23 pmA guy in Los Angeles does them. No, I've not done anything for guitars. I think Reg was looking at something for a LP junior that I built that he was considering for a while, but we didn't get any further!robthemac wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 6:27 pm@Grant, do you have a logo or decals?
