Re: Much Eastman love....
No idea, but it is a spectacular instrument. So resonant. I miss it. Here's my Eastman Electric, it is a bit funky (in a jazz/funk/blues kind of way) It is partly hollow, but the middle block only goes up far enough for the bridge to mount on it.
It is also a brilliant guitar, with a unique voice and vibe. Both this and the 605 have a wider fretboard for fingerstyle work--same as a fingerstyle acoustic guitar (1 & 3/4").
I have an Eastman acoustic also, but I'll have to take some photos before I can share that.

That electric looks tasty, but I'm not a fan of blue guitars. Looking forward to seeing your acoustic!olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 12:23 pmI've no plan to sell the 2 I have.

Within 2 minutes you wouldn't notice; trust me.
This is the guitar that convinced me it was possible to get along with humbuckers.

Right. With pickguard or without?
I removed it because it was thin and rattly and irritating. But it's not. It's rock solid and well made. The guitar rings so much that touching the pickguard created a lot of noise.

Looks better with the pickguard, I think. Maybe there’s a way you can damp the noise. Or learn to love it as evidence, as if more is needed, of what a singularly good guitar it seems to be.

I’m with starfire on this one. I have had a few guitars With such strong resonance that unexpected bits rattle (Gretsch 6120, Jazzmaster, Robins to name a few). It’s often gone from something that annoys me to a reassuring reminder of just how alive they are. One of the Robins was so resonant that the rear control cavity cover would vibrate with certain notes.

Of course
I climbed on the back of a giant albatross which flew through a crack in the cloud to a place where happiness reigned all year round and music played ever so loudly

A vote for "without".
